Children’s Health Care

Your child’s health is important, and we believe your child should have special care and attention.  Keeping your child healthy provides a strong foundation as your child grows and learns.  This is why we have a specialized Pediatric team with the skills and training to serve the health care needs of your child in a caring and comforting manner.

Family Dental Care

Healthy teeth and gums are important to overall health and well-being.  New Horizon Family Dental Care is pleased to offer high quality, affordable family dental care through a team of professional dentists, hygienists and support staff.  A full range of preventive and restorative services are available to adults and children.  The Mobile Dental Unit conducts outreach at schools, churches, community centers and other locations throughout the community.  Individuals in need of regular dental care are referred to our dental office.

Small Business Partnerships

NHFHS is working to meet the needs of employers by offering affordable health care services to their employees.  Through our small business initiative, we partner directly with businesses to develop an affordable health service program of preventive and primary care services.  NHFHS works individually with each business to customize a plan that best suits the needs of its employees.

Health Care for the Homeless

NHFHS’ Health Care for the Homeless program is operated in collaboration with Upstate homeless shelters and other health and human service providers.  The program has established a traveling CARE Team of highly qualified health care professionals who conduct outreach and provide medical care services to homeless individuals using a 40-foot mobile medical unit at strategic locations thoughout the Upstate region.

Chronic Disease Management

With chronic disease management programs, NHFHS’ health care team works closely with patients to help manage chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.  As a part of this program, health classes, counseling and support groups focusing on healthy living are offered.
